In this guide, we’re going to talk about how to select the best barbecue grills which run on gas. The reason we’ve decided to share this guide is because we’re avid barbecue lovers and over the 4th of July weekend our team got together and had some fun. While enjoying ourselves, we got into the discussion of barbecue and grills and decided to check out some of the best available products in the market.
The main thing you need to decide in your head while choosing for a grill is what expectation you have. Do you require it for a huge get-together or you need to for some personal time cooking.
If you want it for a fun weekend with your friends, then a gas grill is the way to go. But you don’t need so much capacity then you can opt for a simple electrical grill or a portable grill as well.
We eventually found this site which had some helpful reviews which helped us choose from the best gas grills out there on the market. They also have electric grills and charcoal grills reviews if you’d like to check.
Here are a few tips that we thought might be helpful for you:
Go with Weber
We’re not normally, so brand focused while choosing some new products. But, when it comes to grills Weber is your best option. There are many other brands out there but from our personal experience, Weber is the best way to go.
You may try other brand but don’t forget to check some customer reviews first. That is a must when looking for new products.
Burners & BTUs
There are usually 2 to 4 Burners in a grill and depending upon your needs they’re sufficient. But BTUs is whole another story. You need to get a grill with good BTU depending on what expectations you have from your grill. If you need blazing hot, then 60,000 plus BTU is what you have to choose. If you’re not looking for that much heat, then 40,000 BTU is sufficient.
You also need to make sure you that which burner gives you what sort of BTU. Some side burners only give around 20,000 BTU, which is okay but not enough if you need something cooked quicker. This is crucial; we almost made this mistake while choosing for ours.
Those were some of the basic things we learned from our experience. Do share with us if you had any recent experience about this in the comments below.
